There is no denying that the Point Pleasant Beach area is a great place to live and visit.
Many of our tourists come for the mile stretch of Boardwalk with its rides and attractions along the expansive beaches of Point Pleasant Beach.
Others opt for the more tranquil Bayhead shores with their Bed and Breakfasts and quain
t downtown area.
For those of us lucky enough to live at the Jersey Shore year round, we are spoiled by all the other opportunities that life on the shore affords; fishing, crabbing, kayaking, surfing. How many High Schools do you know of that have a surfing club?
For those of you who enjoy fresh seafood, we’ve got plenty of that. Whether you’re looking for fresh caught fluke to cook at home or a delicious meal on the shore of the Manasquan river, Point Pleasant easily accommodates.
From spring to late fall the area is buzzing with activities every weekend. There are a number of very popular fundraising walks held on the Boardwalk and throughout Point Pleasant Beach every year. In the Fall Point Pleasant Beach’s Seafood festival brings in roughly 20,000 visitors and Point Pleasant Borough’s Summer Street Fair attracts hundreds of crafters and eager patrons. Monthly antique car shows during the summer months in Point Pleasant Beach keep the streets filled with car enthusiasts happy to chat about their prized possessions. Art enthusiasts can enjoy Bay Head’s Annual Art in the Park in June, an event that provides the works of 45 professional artists.
